Blue-eyed Soul From Michael Bolton

Michael Bolton brings his classic songs including "Love Is a Wonderful Thing," "When A Man Loves A Woman," "Soul Provider," and "Time, Love And Tenderness" to Harrah's. The showtime both nights is 9pm; tickets are $100 and $125. Bolton's latest album, Vintage, is a collection of 11 pop standards from the '40s, '50s and '60s. Songs on the release include "All The Way," "A Kiss To Build A Dream On," "The Very Thought Of You" and "When I Fall In Love"


'Chances Are' Johnny Mathis Is Still Croonin'

August 6-7

"Chances Are" you'll be mesmerized by the smooth vocal styling of balladeer Johnny Mathis when he takes center stage in The Concert Venue at Harrah's Friday, August 6 and Saturday, August 7.

The showtime is 9pm each night. Tickets are $125. Accompanied by a 24-piece orchestra, Mathis will perform his well-known songs including: "Wonderful, Wonderful," "It's Not For Me To Say" and "Misty" as well as his number one hit records "Chances Are" and "Too Much, Too Little, Too Late," which was recorded with Deniece Williams.

With more than 45 years as a recording artist, Mathis released The Christmas Album, a collection of his favorite holiday music in 2002. In 2000, Mathis released a CD of popular show tunes, Mathis on Broadway.

With two Grammy Award nominations, the first for the 1960 song "Misty" and the second in 1992 for "In a Sentimental Mood/Mathis Sings Ellington," Mathis has also been inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame and received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Mathis is considered a pioneer. His Johnny's Greatest Hits album spent an unprecedented 490 continuous weeks (almost 10 years) on the Billboard Top Albums Chart. This is an accomplishment that has been noted in the Guinness Book of World Records.
